When we took our best mare, an own daughter of the absolutely unmatched Dynamic Deluxe, we hoped for a dream outcome: first, a horse of the perfect size, since her mama, a beautiful buttermilk dun with the prettiest head you will ever see, is a petite 14.3 hands; second, a horse of the correct "form-to-function" conformation to be a life-long athlete; third, a horse of color, being 25-year believers in the value of duns and buckskins for their athleticism, durability, beauty, good minds, and longevity; and fourth, a mare, in order to carry on the improvements to the quarter horse gene pool. We got it all! A gorgeous grulla, with no white at all, pretty-headed and correct, standing 15.1 at 2 years old and still growing, and best of all, not only a mare, but a mare who can move with the best of them: deep-hocked, flat, and soft! And found that, faced with four excellent young horses from yearling to four year old by the young stallion we acquired just before we scratched up the stud fee for Natural Iron, we had neither the time, energy, or resources to do right by this potentially great young mare. It only makes sense for us to devote as much as we can to the promoting the get of our own stallion, and they are great youngsters in their own right, as well.

If there's anyone out there who knows pedigrees, who loves rare color, and who recognizes all-around athletic potential, we are offering this mare for a price that makes no sense at all: $7,500.00. She has had over 4 months of professional training, has been trail-ridden and carefully exposed to all sorts of scary stuff, has been ridden in the "traffic" of make-up pens at a couple of shows, and is ready to finish for the show pen. She is 100% sound in mind and body, has no vices or bad habits, and of course clips, loads, hauls, etc. like the show horse she was born to be. She belongs at the 2008 Reichert, in the 3 Year Old Maiden slot event, but we can't do that and handle the needs of our other show horses. Our hope is that there's someone out there who has been looking for this very mare and never expected to find her. Hopefully, at this price, the slot entry fee and the training to get her ready might be more affordable for her lucky buyer.
