Congratulations to Christi Schuckman and Dynamic Promises, a.k.a. "Griffin," on winning a World Championship title in 2-Year Old Longe Line at the American Buckskin Registry Association's 2011 World Show in Tulsa, OK in August. This beautiful golden Dun son of Dynamic In Blue and Pleasure Time Promis is owned, trained, and shown by his breeder, Christi Schuckman, of Burlington, WI and was also the Yearling Longe Line Champion in 2010 at the prestigious BHAM Congress and Futurity at East Lansing. "Griffin" was shown under saddle during the ABRA World by Tricia Munoz and performed outstandingly in the 2 Year Old Western Pleasure Futurity, placing 5 in the Open Snaffle-Bit and 4th in the NSBA-approved event. Congratulations again to Griffin and Christi for a super show, and thanks for making Dynamic In Blue a Multiple World Champions Sire. We are excited that Dynamic Promises has done all he's been asked to do so far, and is poised to go on to even bigger and better things as a 3 year old. We'll be watching his progress with pride!
Congratulations to Dynamic Blue Scoot (a.k.a. "Harley) and his 14 year old partner, Emily Vojtek, on their spectacular showing in Memphis at the International Buckskin Horse Association's World Championship Show! Emily guided Harley to not one but TWO (count 'em, TWO) World Championships during her first time to compete at the World level. They not only won the Youth HS Pleasure, 14-18 yrs., where Emily was probably the youngest exhibitor in the event, but went on to take on the grown-ups, trainers, and all in Junior Hunt Seat Pleasure, and beat them, too! Oops, maybe that's not good sportsmanship to say "beat them," but we're so proud of the way this kid handled herself and her horse, we just can't help bragging a little bit. Harley didn't have all that much show expereince, either, but, like so many good Blues, that didn't seem to bother him much. Way to get the job "dun," Emily & Harley! Also big thanks to mom Michele Welch, Truck-driver extraordinaire, Chris Welch, and sis Brittany (excuse if I spelled wrong) for getting the winning team to Memphis and into the show ring. Huge outlays of energy, time, money, and more energy are required for this stuff, and we appreciate how much you guys give and give! Both Emily and "Harley" are sorta new to the show ring, having just got together in late 2010, and winning 8th out of a huge deep class of 38 tough Youth competitors in their Hunter under Saddle event is something to be proud of for sure! We're hoping that proud mom Michele Welch will send us new pictures of the winning pair soon. Way to get it "dun," Emily! We'll be cheering you on and hoping to see you and Harley in Ohio (and maybe in Memphis?!) this summer! *Dynamic Blue Scoot" now known as "Harley," was called "Charley" when he was foaled on Bob & Sheena Wilms' place near Milford, Ohio, (in 2004). He is a big handsome grulla gelding out of that cute mare, Ima Cool Scoot, that Sarah Wilms Zeglin showed so successfully to IBHA World titles when she was a Youth rider."
Congratulations to Kassie Norton and Dynamic Blue Cruiser, of Owasso MI, who hit another milestone in their exciting career together! Dynamic Blue Cruiser has earned his Register Of Merit award in Western Pleasure in the American Buckskin Registry Association. This is quite an achievement for any rider and any horse, but this one deserves special note because it was earned by a Youth owner/exhibitor in only her first full show season with this horse, and also because the horse, Dynamic Blue Cruiser, a gorgeous dun by Dynamic In Blue (Dynamic In The Dark) out of Diamonds Last Fling, is only a "kid" himself, and they went out and won their first ROM in the "Open" Jr. Western Pleasure class, against adults, professional trainers, and all! All of at Stone Anvil Farm are so very proud of Kassie and "Hank" and of course Kassie's hard-working mom, Sherri, who has made sure this winning pair got their chance to show how they could really get it "DUN!"

Angie and "Roo" took home a whole bunch of Year-End Awards and Titles at the OWHA Banquet a couple of weeks ago, including High Points in Open Walk-Trot Pleasure, Adult Western Pleasure, Open Halter Geldings, and Adult Open Walk-Trot Pleasure, as well as Reserve High Point awards in Jr. Western Pleasure and Showmanship! Wow, Angie! Way to go in your first show season with a new young fella! There's nothing like the Blue attitude, mind, grulla color, and beauty to make a show season fun!
Dynamic In Pleasure: Ohio’s 2010 High Point Open Performance Horse! Congratulations to Dynamic In Pleasure, 2004 grulla daughter of Dynamic In Blue, out of A Certain Lucky Sioux, for another outstanding show year in the Ohio State Buckskin Association. “Dyna,” bred, owned, and exhibited by the Ben and Tamie Grandstaff family, S & G Stables, Marengo, Ohio, finished the 2010 season with High Point titles in Dun Factor, Aged Mares Halter, Western Trail, and Western Disciplined Rail, and her total points earned her the 2010 Open Performance Year End Division Champion title! Stone Anvil Farm, Larry and Sunny Krugh, and the Big Daddy himself, Dynamic In Blue are very proud of this fine young mare’s accomplishments, which date back to her first winning halter and Dun Factor classes as a weanling and yearling, often shown in futurities and at the IBHA World by Corey Grandstaff when he was not much more than a yearling himself--- in horse years, anyway. It was a joy to watch Corey showing Dyna, using his keen horse handling ability, experience, feel, and hearing to get the job “dun!” Dynamic In Pleasure continued to demonstrate the epitome of “Color In Pleasure” as a two year old, when she was the favorite mount of three-year-old Anna Durnell while Dyna was being started by Anna’s daddy. Her mom has pictures of Anna riding Dyna around their practice pen, where she was under strict orders not to lope unless the mare was saddled-- no bareback loping allowed, much to Anna’s disgust, since she was just a little too short on one end to saddle the mare herself. There’re also photos of Dyna and Anna taking their afternoon nap together in the stall, Dyna all comfy in clean shavings, and Anna likewise comfy, draped over Dyna’s warm back. During her first successful western pleasure show season, Dyna and Anna won many Lead-Line classes, often showing against Anna’s twin brother Brady, riding Grandma Helen‘s dun mare. Sometimes the lead-line classes included another Dynamic In Blue grulla two year old, Dark Blue Rerun, who, like Dyna, also demonstrated the laid-back attitude that introduced a couple of three and four year old aspiring equestrians to the joys of competition. Once Anna had Dyna warmed up and ready, Anna mom would take the petite grulla mare into the Amateur Western Pleasure and Anna‘s daddy would show her in the Open. Later on in her show career, when her original owners brought her back home to Ohio, Dyna’s calm, willing disposition and sensible attitude helped the horsewoman who’d been there the day she was foaled to come back into the show pen and compete in performance events again for the first time in several years. Their successful partnership has resulted in an impressive list of wins in the advanced level classes such as trail and disciplined rail, and we’re guessing that Dyna’s owner/exhibitor has enjoyed being in the saddle herself, rather than watching from the rail while a trainer rides her horse. Dynamic In Pleasure, with her combination of good looks, rare color, pretty movement, sweet disposition and good mind represents the unique legacy of Dynamic In Blue to the world of pleasure performance. We get our greatest satisfaction as stallion owners from the successes and joy of the Amateurs, Youth, and Select riders whose horse dreams come true with their own “homebred” Blue babies. Congratulations to a New Blue baby owner: Margie Bachman, who has recently purchased Deluxe Dun Blue (aka "Ringo") from one of our fav breeders, Valerie Morgan, of Thornville, Ohio. Margie started right out of the chute with some nice wins with her new Blue baby, who I hear she has re-christened "Goober" in her barn. Hey, we'll get used to it, especially if he keeps those blue ribbons coming in, right?! I believe this picture came from the Delavan, IL, futurity, just a week or so ago. Nice going, Margie! Hope you'll keep on sending us updates on this nice grulla so we can let Blue's fans know how the kids are doing.

Dark Blue Favorite: Another Blue Success Story, October 2010
Dark Blue Favorite (Dynamic In Blue x Favorite Ant Marie), having earned her AQHA Register of Merit as well as one All-Around Runner-Up award and three third place All-Around awards at the end of her three year old year, has now followed up as a four-year old with her Amateur and Amateur Select exhibitor Brenda Arthur, Winchester, Ohio, enjoying even more success in AQHA show pens during 2010. Quoting a recent letter from Brenda: “Thought I would write a note just to say I’ve been very pleased with the horse I bought from you as a yearling. I have done all the training myself; she is now a 4 year old. With limited showing she’s earned 24 points this summer in Showmanship, Trail, Horsemanship, and Halter. I’ve also let my granddaughter do Lead Line on Wendy. My granddaughter will be 2 years old next month.”
Dark Blue Favorite, aka “Wendy” and her proud owner/exhibitor placed 1st in Amateur Trail at the WVQHA Futurity, and achieved the WVQHA Year-End High-Point Grand Champion title in Amateur Select Showmanship, as well as WVQHA Year End High Point Reserve Champion in Amateur Trail!
Our congratulations to Brenda on her outstanding success with her Blue baby. Her story represents one of the most important qualities of Dynamic In Blue’s value as a sire: he consistently passes on not only his beautiful movement (and 80% of the time, gorgeous dun colors), but most importantly his great mind, gentle disposition, and sweet, laid-back attitude. Congratulations to Emily Vojtek and Dynamic Blue Scoot, aka "Charlie" on their success at the Pennsylvania State 4-H Show. Emily, who is just 13 years old, is enjoying excellent rides on this young grulla gelding, bred by Bob and Sheena Wilms, Milford, Ohio. Emily's mom writes "... he is the best-minded, best moving horse I've ever owned, and whatever you're doing, keep doing it!" She goes on to say: "He is a special horse. You'll be hearing from me again, probably to book for the 2012 breeding season." Thanks for that great news about your Blue baby, and thanks for the kind words about Blue, Michelle! We sure love to hear about the fun and successes our Youth exhibitors are having with their great-minded young Blue horses! Watch for Emily and Charlie at the All-American Youth Show in May! Another Blue baby claims a World title! Dynamic Promises, 2009 buttermilk dun colt by Dynamic In Blue and out of
Christi Schuckman's world-champion-producing mare Pleasure Time Promis, won the Reserve World Champion title in Yearling Longe Line at the American Buckskin Registry Association's World Show in Tulsa, OK. This outstanding colt has been bred, raised, trained and shown by his Amateur owner and won his first-time-out World level event against 14
of the best in the United States and Canada, many of which had professional big-name trainers on the other end of the
line! What an exciting accomplishment! There's nothing like the World Show level of competition to get the best out of everyone, and we here at Stone Anvil Farm: Larry, Sunny, and of course, Blue--congratulate Christi and Griffin on their achievement today at the ABRA World Show in Tulsa. performance show pens every year. This time around, down there in Memphis, Tennessee, she proved out the versatility and show-ability of Blue's gorgeous color babies by taking home "Top Five in the World" titles on Dynamic Dun Blue in
every class he entered: Yearling Longe Line, Yearling Geldings Halter, and Dun Factor! Need we say more about Blue's legendary "Color in Pleasure" sire-ability? Congratulations, Valerie, on a job well "Dun!"
Dynamic Blue Cruiser and new owner Kassie Norton, aged 15, of Owasso, MI, started their new show career together
with a real bang, winning top ten and top five placings in several very tough classes. It was their first time together for
most of these ABRA Congress events, and in spite of some unexpected obstacles, they held it all together and came out with very respectable placings. We are so proud of both of them, "Hank," being shown for the first time by a new young equestrienne, and Kassie, who proved that she'd got what it takes to go for the gusto! Congratulations!

LD Show Breeze Lady, captured, in August 2008, the prize most coveted by his breeder in her twenty-five-years-plus of breeding and showing Dun Factor horses: The International Buckskin Horse Association's World Champion title. "Beezer" earned all but 3 of the points required for his Superior award as a yearling (no mean feat in an all-ages, all genders event like DF!), as well as an ROM inn Yearling Longe Line. He has also won several Grands at Stallion Halter, and is now in training with Robin Murphy for his debut in Wester Pleasure. Congratulations to Ava, Mike, and to Beezer's handlers,

last weekend (May 15-16). Stone Anvil Farm just received word from Kassie's mom, Sherrie, that Kassie and Hank won
firsts in Youth Hunter under Saddle, Youth Western Pleasure, and THREE--count 'em, THREE firsts in Jr. Western
Pleasure, in classes of TWELVE horses, against the trainers, the grownups, and all that! Showing the versatility of the Dynamic In Blue genetics, Hank also carried his partner to several excellent placings in Youth Hunt Seat Equitation,
Youth Horsemanship, and Jr. Hunter under Saddle! Nothing like practically locking up your Register of Merit in one weekend, huh?! Sherrie promises to send pictures asap, too! Sure, we shouldn't brag, but this really demonstrates the
great good-mindedness and trainability of Blue's get. When a kid, Novice, Amateur, or Select rider gets together
with one of these youngsters and is willing to work at it, they can have so much fun and fulfillment in showing,
competing, and achieving their goals! Way to go, Kassie!
Sally Creger Ghist reports on her Dynamic In Blue baby, Dynamic Story Kid, aka "Cisco" (or "Moe" as he was known as a weanling around Stone Anvil Farm.) Cisco/Moe made his big-boy national-points debut last weekend in Michigan
and really showed 'em how much "Pretty" these Blue babies have! Congratulations to Sally and Jim on this exciting introduction to the show pen! We know even more excitement is to come when Ken gets him into the WP show pen, too!
Dynamic In Blue's yearling (2009) baby, "Dynamic Promises", out of the World Champion-producing mare, "Pleasure Time Promis" owned and shown by Christi Schuckman, Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The video shows this fine buttermilk dun yearling showing them how to get it "DUN" at the prestigious Tom Powers Futurity, June, 2010. This was one of "Griffin's" first big shows in Yearling Longe Line, and even with a little bobble he managed to get placed quite nicely against some of the top yearlings, and some of the niggest names in the so-called "Amateur" or "Non-Pro" owner-exhibitors in the United States! Congratulations, Christi and Griffin!!!!
